最近大家喜欢探讨Omegle.com ，一个2009年3月25日上线（据说）并快速引爆流行的"陌生人一对一聊天"网站，界面设计的简单极致，功能定位明确至极，靠博客和Twitter们迅速传遍了全球。

Omegle是沿着什么样的路径传播开的？
这是我感兴趣的，也是对我或者其他互联网创业者最有价值的！！！
在Omegle的官方博客上，居住在美国佛蒙特州伯瑞特波罗 的18岁的创始人Leif K-Brooks写到："...Thanks to (in no particular order) Veronica Belmont, How Stuff Works, MegaByte TV, Sarah Lane, Tess Salalac, Google Blogoscoped, and everyone else who has been tweeting and blogging about Omegle..."
Leif的这段感谢词发表于2009年3月30日下午4点40分，这段感谢词引发了我的深入调查，我也是Twitter中毒（重度）用户，也是3年博龄的博客，对社会化传播（媒体）有很深的"感触"，这次是个机会针对这个Case挖掘一把了！
我逐个看了一下感谢名单中的人，其中，Veronica Belmont最强，她在Twitter上有 380,288 Followers，她于2009年3月30日上午11点在Twitter上tweet了一句然后引爆了Omegle！
这个时候我相信很多细心的人会有一个很大的疑问，那么到底是谁把Omegle告诉了Veronica？如果没有Veronica，我们可能要等很久很久才能看到Omegle，也可能在我们看到Omegle之前，Leif就已经丧失信心或者迫于压力转而干别的去了，无数创业者就是这么倒下的！
我也特别好奇，到底是谁把Omegle告诉了Veronica？
于是我又调查了一番，搜索了一番，思考了一番，目前得到一个推论：是FunAdvice把Omegle告诉了Veronica，这是个比较合乎逻辑的论断，也是很多创业者可以学习参考的。
FunAdvice的Traffic Exchange产品发挥了作用，下面是这个Traffic Exchange的解释：
细心的用户一定在Omegle的首页上注意到了右侧这个小的Widget，这就是Leif放在自己Omegle上的用来跟外面交换流量的一个插件，按照Traffic Exchange的官方说法，Leif送出去的每一个流量（用户点击）都会公平换到来自其他网站的一个点击（用户），我想，Veronica很有可能就是在浏览某个同样内嵌了Traffic Exchange Widget的网站时，看到了"Sites you'll like"里面罗列的Omegle，然后点过来玩了一把，觉得好玩，接着就Tweet了一下，然后地球人都知道发生了什么……（这种可能性最高，也最容易复制）
又或者，可能是Veronica的一个朋友通过这种方式看到了Omegle，然后告诉了Veronica……（这种可能性也比较高，也比较容易复制）
还可能，Leif本人发布Omegle后给Veronica发了邮件……（这种可能性是最低的，也是最不可复制的）

为什么她会成为这次引爆流行的关键一个节点呢，或者说为什么她在Twitter上会有38万多个Follower呢，因为：
原来她是电视明星啊！难怪！
下面就是她在Twitter上说的第一句也是唯一依据关于Omegle的Tweet（专有名词，代表Twitter上的迷你博客内容）：

原来她是电视明星啊！难怪！
下面就是她在Twitter上说的第一句也是唯一依据关于Omegle的Tweet（专有名词，代表Twitter上的迷你博客内容）：

这句tweet理论上会被38万个Followers（粉丝）看到，但实际上肯定没有那么多，很多人不一定会注意到这条消息，但这么大的基数，即便是1%看到也有3800人，这足够引起第二次传播了。
可 想而知，这句tweet瞬间就引来了很多Followers的反馈，有的只是简单转播了一次（Tweetree.com 上有个ReTweet功能，点击一下就可以将别人的一句tweet重复传播给自己的Followers），10天里面仅Veronica的 Followers就RT了150多次，这些人的Followers还会继续RT，将接力棒传播下去……如果继续追查下去，这是不得了的，仅仅假设一个人 传播给两个人，两个人传播给四个人，这就是指数级增长了，更别提Veronica随便一条tweet就在10天内有100多个"一度"RT，这些 Followers里面其实还有很多同样很有影响力的人，他们成为了重要的第二棒传递者，我摘要了一些信息，按时间倒序排列：

博客发布5个小时后，他上Google搜索了一下Omegle，结果令他惊讶，所以他又来Twitter上Tweet了一把：

可以这么理解，他是较早写博客报道Omegle的，他的贡献很大。（点击这里查看他的博客报道）
还有一些博客也在同一天发表了文章评述，大家可以搜索查看，是谁，写了什么，每个博客有多少人看了已经不重要了，因为从Veronica开始，Omegle已经被引爆了，后面的事情是谁已经不太重要了，总会有人RT，总会有人blog……
还有一点，中国有很多博客们一直在关注国外的最新消息，订阅一些消息灵通的博客文章，其中有一些敏感而勤奋的中文博客也很早开始参与了Omegle的报道，
目前在google搜索omegle得到的结果中，我看到中文报道最早的一篇是发表于4月2日（距离英文报道仅3天），是磨剑庐（点击这里查看报道原文），由于是愚人节刚过，还有人以为是什么愚人节玩笑呢，不过这篇报道的第二棒由其他博客（比如：Solidot，点啦）和Twitter华人用户们接上，然后是第三棒，国内的一些相对主流媒体和BBS（如天涯论坛，PCHOME，宽带山，猫扑，IT168等等）继续传播……
然后，在华人用户中再次引爆了Omegle，要知道，中国就是人多啊，很快Omegle服务器就宕机了，回复后还一度封闭了中国的IP地址，那段时间可以用代理上，为什么要封中国的IP地址呢，人多就不好吗？
后来研究了一下我发现Omegle服务器宕机不是因为中国用户多了，有可能受到了来自中国的一种叫做"Brother Spring is true man"的病毒，直译"春哥纯爷们"（这句话不用我解释出处了吧），瑞星还简称其为"春爷"，还有截图：（作者备注：感叹一下，才上线10天就被中国的黑客攻击，我该说什么好呢）
病毒的事情总算解决了，中国用户又可以登录了，但是好戏才刚刚开始。
如此快的传播速度和如此火爆的增长，而且还传到了中国，怎能不让蠢蠢欲动的创业者们眼红？
大家都猜到该发生什么了吧？

然后，在华人用户中再次引爆了Omegle，要知道，中国就是人多啊，很快Omegle服务器就宕机了，回复后还一度封闭了中国的IP地址，那段时间可以用代理上，为什么要封中国的IP地址呢，人多就不好吗？
后来研究了一下我发现Omegle服务器宕机不是因为中国用户多了，有可能受到了来自中国的一种叫做"Brother Spring is true man"的病毒，直译"春哥纯爷们"（这句话不用我解释出处了吧），瑞星还简称其为"春爷"，还有截图：（作者备注：感叹一下，才上线10天就被中国的黑客攻击，我该说什么好呢）
病毒的事情总算解决了，中国用户又可以登录了，但是好戏才刚刚开始。
如此快的传播速度和如此火爆的增长，而且还传到了中国，怎能不让蠢蠢欲动的创业者们眼红？

这个时候我相信很多细心的人会有一个很大的疑问，那么到底是谁把Omegle告诉了Veronica？如果没有Veronica，我们可能要等很久很久才能看到Omegle，也可能在我们看到Omegle之前，Leif就已经丧失信心或者迫于压力转而干别的去了，无数创业者就是这么倒下的！
我也特别好奇，到底是谁把Omegle告诉了Veronica？
于是我又调查了一番，搜索了一番，思考了一番，目前得到一个推论：是FunAdvice把Omegle告诉了Veronica，这是个比较合乎逻辑的论断，也是很多创业者可以学习参考的。

细心的用户一定在Omegle的首页上注意到了右侧这个小的Widget，这就是Leif放在自己Omegle上的用来跟外面交换流量的一个插件，按照Traffic Exchange的官方说法，Leif送出去的每一个流量（用户点击）都会公平换到来自其他网站的一个点击（用户），我想，Veronica很有可能就是在浏览某个同样内嵌了Traffic Exchange Widget的网站时，看到了"Sites you'll like"里面罗列的Omegle，然后点过来玩了一把，觉得好玩，接着就Tweet了一下，然后地球人都知道发生了什么……（这种可能性最高，也最容易复制）
又或者，可能是Veronica的一个朋友通过这种方式看到了Omegle，然后告诉了Veronica……（这种可能性也比较高，也比较容易复制）
还可能，Leif本人发布Omegle后给Veronica发了邮件……（这种可能性是最低的，也是最不可复制的）
Omegle的传播总结：
- 设计一个功能精简但需求明确的产品，便于传播
- 上线的一开始要利用好Traffic Exchange之类流量交换的工具
Omegle的快速风靡也告诉我们一些道理：
- Twitter很有价值，绝不可忽视！
